Plan a visit to Chatsworth

Here you will find everything you need to plan a visit, from opening times, prices and access details, to pre-booked group information, season tickets and choices of food and drink. General visitors do not need to book in advance; during our usual opening hours you choose when to enter the house and then walk round at your own pace, before seeing the garden. We ask all group visitors (a group is 15 or more) to book in advance. The garden can be visited on its own, and the farmyard with its adventure playground is also a separate attraction

A guide to finding Chatsworth

Our fully accessible attractions

Please note
Our Christmas opening is on the two lower floors of the house only, and therefore does not include the five state rooms on the top floor. Our special seasonal decorations are likely to obscure some works of art, and with candles and other special Christmas lighting, there is less light in the rooms. Please also be aware that after dusk, many parts of the garden are not lit.
